Matej Gobec is a producer and audio engineer, with 20 years of  intense experience in live sound, recording, mixing, mastering and producing. 

 

He started his sound path at the age of 14, when he mixed his first show.

He studied at the SAE Institute in Ljubljana and after that got other educations.

 

During his career, Matej mixed over 2000 concerts and he owns superbly equipped studio The cosmosonic studios together with his friend, where he is privileged to work on unique kicking ass projects. (Check CREDITS).

Currently, he is stationed at slovenian most renowned artistic band Laibach, where he takes care of their production and concert sound. Laibach was the first rock group that performed a rock show in North Korea.


Matej also teaches music production at United Pop under West London University and at his seminars around Slovenia and abroad.
